Professor Trần Trung Dũng finished his training as medical student in Hanoi Medical University in 2000 before studying and working as a resident doctor in VietDuc University Hospital from 2001 to 2004. In 2011, he obtained his PhD degree from Hanoi Medical University. In regards to his training and education activities, he was the Head of Orthopedic Division, Faculty of Surgery, Hanoi Medical University in 2012 before being appointed as Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in 2015. In 2020, he was appointed the Professor of Orthopedic Surgery by The State Council for Professorship and Hanoi Medical University.

Professor Trần Trung Dũng also has a very strong passion in bone and joint surgery which led him to spending some time gaining knowledge and experience from centers in Australia, Korea, Japan, Thailand and many more. He is also currently the member of many professional societies: American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Asia Pacific Orthopedic Association, Asian Pacific of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sport Medicine Surgery and certainly Vietnam Orthopedic Association.
